To Biennale is an exhibition in Tokyo about how simple materials can carry emotion. The show needed one image that could represent it across posters, catalogue and the space.

We art directed a series of still lifes around a curved stainless steel stool covered in burgundy glazed tiles, photographed on pale backgrounds. The same steel-and-burgundy palette runs through print, wayfinding and the digital invitation.
